Three shops that sell customised clothing:

Garments:
A gathered pleated skirt was in fashion during the 1930s, they gave women more shape. The buttoned down centre was military inspired as that is what the soldiers wore. This garment is made from silk. What makes this garment a customised piece of vintage clothing is that it is a plain black silk skirt embellished with buttons inspired from the 1930s.

A buttoned up blouse inspired from the 1930s-40s. This is a crowded silk blouse with images like; pocket watches and clocks and text that were common during the 1930s-40s. What makes this garment a customised piece of vintage clothing is that it has images that were common in the 1930s-40s.

 A kharki green skater dress.
  • Made from an easy-care poly fabric
  • Round collared neckline
  • Zip fastening to back
  • The colour kharki would have been commonly seen during the 1940s as during the war, women often wore modest clothes with dark colours that were seen as rough and rustic.This would be seen as customised vintage clothing because it is 1940s inspired with a modernised twist to it.

    This is a polka dotted silk dress that was briefly seen during the 1920s-30s but re-seen during the 1950s. During the 1950s rockabilly came out and the polka dots were seen as an innocent rock style. This dress would be seen as vintage clothing as it is rockabilly,
